The Shared Services team in the Office of Finance, Administration & Budget provides financial transaction processing for units across campus, allowing those units to redirect their efforts to other operational needs and mission critical tasks. Shared Services includes support for payroll, e-docs, purchasing, p-cards, and out-of-pocket reimbursements. The Shared Services team also assists in processing transactions from the IU Foundation.
The Innovation and Efficiency group develops new middleware software solutions to streamline transaction workflow, enhance standardization, and provide a new level of visibility to the status of transactions as they move through the process. IU Share uses secure connections to IU’s main financial systems such as HRMS, BUY.IU, Chrome River, Kuali, and others, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information and efficient processing.
